For this recipe everyone adds as much sugar as they see fit; we if we don't eat too sweet, I put less but I've heard people who put 5 tablespoons of sugar in a jar or maybe that's normal ?? I do not know!!

RECIPE PREPARATION Apricot compote:

Washed, pitted apricots, which are smaller, we leave them whole, we put them in jars. I measured with a cup of water, it went into an 800 g jar, 250 ml of water. We put the measured water in a pot to boil together with how much sugar you consider, I put 2 tablespoons of sugar in each jar, and after the sugar has melted (no need to boil), portion the syrup into jars, screw the lids on and put it to sterilize 3-4 minutes from the moment the water boils.

Let them cool in the pot and then store them in the pantry.

if the fruit is ripe enough, do not boil the jars too much because it softens too much and no longer looks like compote
