Champagne pancakes

Champagne pancakes

Mix the flour with the salt and sugar. Separately mix the milk with the butter and eggs. Gradually add the flour mixture over the milk mixture. At the end add champagne and mix until smooth. The composition should have a fluid but creamy consistency. For adjustment, a little water / milk or flour can be added if it is too thick or too fluid.

Heat a little butter in a pan over medium heat. Pour 1/2 polish of the composition and spread on the entire surface of the pan. Cook until the surface becomes slightly opaque and the base is browned for about 1 minute. Turn and cook for another 1 minute. Remove to a plate.

Do the same with the rest of the composition, without adding butter to the pan.

Grease the pancakes with jam on the entire surface and garnish with lime peel.

For those who love sweet pancakes and, especially, chocolate sauce, on we found the recipe that combines the preferences of mothers and children alike.

For pancakes:

For frying:

50 ml oil + 20 g melted and cooled butter

For chocolate soul:

1/2 teaspoon orange essence

First we prepare the dough for pancakes. Break the whole eggs and mix them well with a pinch of salt. Add the milk and mix gently. Incorporate the flour, mix, but do not insist too much, then pour mineral water, mixing well at this time, so that we do not have lumps of flour and the dough is fine, silky, with a liquid consistency for thin pancakes or thicker consistency for thick pancakes. Let the dough rest for 20-30 minutes - it will be more elastic because the flour will hydrate perfectly - then we can bake the pancakes.

Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate sauce. Mix cocoa with sugar, add water and bring to a boil. Leave on low heat, stirring constantly, until the composition thickens, then remove from the heat. Let it cool completely. At this point, mix the sauce with the whipped cream until the orange essence becomes hard. We can replace the essence of oranges with the essence of vanilla, rum, liqueur, to taste. Put the sauce in the fridge while we prepare the pancakes.

Heat the pancake pan well and grease it with very little oil mixed with melted butter. Pour the dough into the pan and by a quick rotation cover the bottom of the pan in a thin, even layer. Put the pan on the fire and fry until the edges of the pancake start to turn golden. At that moment we turn the pancake to be fried a little on the other side as well. Depending on the skill of each one, we can twist them in the air with the pan, but we can also turn them with a spatula.

Grease the pancakes with chocolate sauce, put banana slices and roll them so that the sauce and fruit remain inside. Assemble the plate by putting 1 tablespoon of chocolate sauce, 2 assembled pancakes and decorate with chocolate sauce, chopped walnuts, grated orange peel and very little powdered sugar.

The easier it is to prepare, the faster it ends!

Mules are a dessert specific to Moldovan cuisine, prepared from pancakes. They are delicious and quick to prepare. The children love them and are ready to eat them every day. But I don't shy away either. Here is a tasty recipe that I found at

500 g of 9% fat cow's cheese

To start we set the roll to 180º.

In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, sugar, salt and eggs. Add the raisins, if you prefer.

Then cut a few cubes of butter and place them on the bottom of the baking tray. Cut each of the pancakes into 4 equal parts and fill them with the cow's cheese mixture. Then we place them in the baking tray. Every 2 layers of mule we cut a few cubes of butter, so that they do not stick during baking. The last layer of mules, likewise, we cover it with a few cubes of butter and a layer of whole pancakes. The latter will not allow excessive browning of the outer layer of mules. Cover the tray with aluminum foil and place it in a larger tray than this, in which we pour a little water. Then roll the tray for 25-30 minutes or until the mules turn golden brown.

The mules are ready and can be served immediately with sour cream.

In addition to being so healthy and delicious, these pancakes are very filling due to the oats.

2 teaspoons chia seeds

1 teaspoon flax seeds

stevia for sweetening (to taste)

½ teaspoons of baking powder

Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until you get a smooth dough. Heat the pan with a teaspoon of oil. Put 2 teaspoons of the composition in the pan. Fry them for 3 minutes on each side.

Before frying the pancakes, the dough should rest for between 30 minutes and an hour, so that it is more elastic and the flour is perfectly hydrated.

Black caviar sandwiches

Gourmet delicacy for expensive sparkling wines.

Rather than stick can take light white toast and cut them into any shape, for example, circles or hearts. The oil is replaced with thick cream.

1. Cut slices of bread 2-3 cm thick.

2. Spread the butter on each slice.

3. Cover with a teaspoon to lay eggs.

The most interesting sandwiches are obtained, in which red and black caviar are combined in one piece. To prepare enough to put two types of caviar on a cracker, as shown in the photo, then add a little butter.

From the entree to the dessert, our Champagne will be ubiquitous - either as an ingredient or as an accompaniment. For those who are discouraged by the price of a bottle of Champagne, you can replace it with a bottle of Terra Alba, our white wine, a wine with a rich bouquet, but neutral enough not to change the taste of our sauces.

Let's get to work: ok, we're actually a little late, because we haven't done our shopping yet. So first I will prepare your list, and then I will tell you how to cook the ingredients in the basket.

Saint-Jacques shells with avocado flies

  1. Take the Saint-Jacques shells out of the freezer, place them on a plate and leave them to thaw, preferably in the fridge, but if you don't have time, you can leave them at room temperature.
  2. When they have thawed, wipe them and make some notches on top, in the shape of a cross.
  3. Pass the leek strips through hot - but not too hot - oil, then place them on paper towels.
  4. Add the onion over about 3 quarters of Champagne
  5. Filter the juice and keep the shallots for the next recipe - nothing is lost without wasting food!
  6. Add the liquid to the pan / pot again
  7. Mix half of the avocado with the lemon juice through the mixer - if you don't have a mixer you can use a fork, it will take a little longer.
  8. Add the avocado mixture over the juice above and keep on low heat
  9. Heat two tablespoons of oil and when it has warmed up, brown the shells for 2 minutes on each side
  10. Meanwhile, heat the artichoke kernels in a pan in a little lemon oil and juice.
  11. Take the above sauce off the heat and add two tablespoons of caviar - the sauce will look more like a musse than a sauce & # 8230
  12. Taste - in the kitchen it is important to taste all the time - season as needed, taking into account that the intake of salt is already provided by caviar, so I do not advise you to add large amounts of salt from the beginning.
  13. Place the artichoke bottoms on the plate and place the avocado and caviar foam on top.
  14. Place the shells on top and grease them with the rest of the caviar
  15. Sprinkle over the crispy leek strips

8 diet-friendly pancake recipes for a healthier breakfast

If you are trying to lose weight, it is generally recommended to avoid foods high in sugar and simple carbohydrates. In this context, pancakes are a restricted food during most diets, consisting of simple carbohydrates. The problem with foods rich in simple carbohydrates is that they break down fairly quickly in the digestive tract.

When all these simple carbohydrates are absorbed into the bloodstream, blood sugar levels rise. As a result, insulin levels also increase.

High levels of insulin allow glucose from the bloodstream to enter the body's cells, which it can use for energy or storage.

Once this happens, the blood sugar level may decrease again, signaling to the brain that it is time to eat again.

This is why the feeling of hunger returns soon after eating foods rich in simple carbohydrates. Another consequence of high insulin levels is that it can promote fat storage.

Does that mean you can't eat pancakes during the weight loss process?

If you want to eat pancakes, but do not want to eat a lot of refined flour, you can try these healthier alternatives. By using fiber-rich flour, healthy fat sources and a higher protein content, you can turn pancakes into a healthier preparation.

Pancakes with cherries

Melt the butter and let it cool a bit. Put the flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Over the flour add the eggs, milk and orange juice then mix together with a whisk. Finally add the butter. The dough is left to rest for about 30 minutes.

Melt the butter in a small pot. Heat a small pan (diameter about 16-18 cm) and grease (with a brush) with a little melted butter. Pour a thin layer of dough that is baked over low to medium heat until golden brown. Turn over on a plate, grease the pan again with melted butter (with a brush), then rinse from the plate and let it slide off the plate back into the pan. Bake on the other side until it turns golden brown. From the rest of the dough, bake the rest of about 7 pancakes in a similar way.

The pancakes are greased on half of the surface with cherry jam. The pancakes are then folded first in half and then in half again to form triangles.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with vanilla ice cream over which sprinkle with chopped fennel.

You can freeze ready-made pancakes by stacking them on top of each other, separated by a sheet of baking paper. Leave to thaw before serving, fill and serve.
