Sweet cheese pie

We put cheese, 2 eggs, vanilla flavor, vanilla sugar, powdered sugar, grated lemon and orange peel, semolina and mix everything well.

Wallpaper a large tray with oil and breadcrumbs (if it is ceramic is not needed) and put 3-4 sheets of pie greased each, then a row of cheese and another sheet until you finish the sheets and cream. Grease the last sheet of pie with oil, then with an egg yolk. Cut with a square knife then put in the preheated oven, over low heat, until the sheets are nicely browned (it took me about an hour).

Allow to cool and powder with powdered sugar.


The cheese is mixed with eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, rum essence and spices.

In a tray greased with oil / butter / margarine, place 3 sheets of pie, greased with oil / butter / margarine. Place a layer of cheese (1/2 of the composition), then place another layer of pie sheets (3 pieces) greased with oil / butter / margarine. Put the rest of the cheese and the rest of the leaves on top.

Place in the oven, which will be preheated. After 20 minutes, remove the pie, pour over it, on the whole surface, the hot milk, prick the pie with a fork and put it back in the oven for another 30 minutes.


Sweet Cow Cheese Pie

I mixed the flour with the baking powder, then I put the lard and rubbed it between my palms to mix well. Then I put the sugar, eggs, sour cream and kneaded. The dough must be greasy, in which case the pie (crumbly) comes out perfect. If necessary, you can add lard during kneading.

I mixed the cheese with the egg, the raisins, the sugar and the lemon peel. I divided the dough into 2 parts (one larger and one slightly smaller. I spread the larger part in the tray, I pricked the dough with a fork, then I put a layer of breadcrumbs. Over the breadcrumbs I put the cheese mixture and again breadcrumbs From the second part of the dough I spread another blanket, cut strips and made a grate over the cheese.

I baked over medium heat. Remove and when hot, powder with powdered sugar. Leave in the pan until completely cooled, then cut into squares (diamonds) and serve.

Pie with raisin and raisin cheese & # 8211 Peasant spread pie. How to make the traditional pie with cow cheese and raisins. In Arad it is called a stretched pie with a thin sheet. It can also be filled with poppy seeds, pumpkin, apples or salted cheese.

This kind of pie with cow and raisin cheese is obviously inspired by the Viennese strudel. In turn, it has its origins in Turkish thin-leaf preparations (baklava, sarailie, burek etc). The most famous is the Turnu Stretch Pie. Here you can see images from a local fair in Arad and at the end of the recipe you will find a video.

In the whole area of ​​Arad, this pie is made with a thin sheet and the fillings are varied. Here you find it pumpkin filling with walnut, here on the apple one and here the one with salted cheese. The specific shape is the one in the image: winding (with meanders).

Here's how I did it with telemea and dill. In this case I twisted the pie in the shape of a snail or spiral.

Don't be afraid of the pie dough because it is easy to prepare and spread! In extremes you can resort to thin sheets of commercial pie (not puff pastry!).

From the ingredients below result 2 trays of pie with cottage cheese and raisins.

  • 500 g of cottage cheese
  • 100 g raisins
  • 100 g dried cranberries or another 100 g raisins
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 160 g sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 or
  • vanilla - 2 sachets of vanilla sugar or 2 teaspoons extract
  • work table oil

3. Pour the filling over the sheet in the tray, cover with the second sheet, grease with cream and put the tray in the oven for 30 minutes. Garnish with chopped almonds.

The trick in this recipe is to put raisins instead of sugar. Substantially reducing the amount of sugar and replacing it with raisins you will get a pie, as tasty as it is healthy.

Sweet cheese pie

1 kg of flour
4 eggs
a cube of yeast
150 g butter
sugar
400ml milk
2 ampoules of vanilla essence
1 egg for greased
salt

1 kg of sweet cheese
200g old
3 eggs
150g raisins
grated peel of a lemon and an orange

Method of preparation

Mix the milk and yeast and leave a little, then whisk the egg whites, rub the yolks with a little salt, put flour, milk and yolks, butter and vanilla essence over the milk and yeast, leave to rise for an hour.
Mix the ingredients for the filling.
After it has grown, spread two sheets, grease them with the filling and roll them, then cut them into 6-7 cm pieces.
Grease a tray and place the pieces on top of each other & let it rise for 40 minutes.
